Nationally, RE/MAX sponsors the Children's Miracle Network, which supports local children's hospitals around the country. Since 1992, RE/MAX has raised more than $67 million for Children's Miracle Network; $9.7 million was raised in 2005 alone.
We push the envelop in raising that money, working hard to involve our Sales Associates and local friends wherever possible. One such special event is the track and field-themed RE/MAX Relay for Kids. In this relay baton race, pledges passed from office to office across four states and culminated with an on-field presentation of $223,000 to Children's Miracle Network at a Cincinnati Reds baseball games. Individual offices also to host golf tournaments, hold garage sales, create in-office contests, and give direct donations – anything and everything to support sick children in need.
RE/MAX Sales Associates also contribute regularly to Children's Miracle Network through the Miracle Home program. Associates can earmark a portion of their commission as a donation to support their local children's hospital in the name of their new homeowners. This program is popular with both Sales Associates and customers, and is a steady means of support for Children's Miracle Network.
